My voice is my power.
After years of shrinking within an abusive marriage, I slowly brought my true self forward by speaking openly on social media and my blog, only to be shoved back down into silence and self-preservation by a national scandal which compelled me to bite my tongue on the worst details.
—
After that blow, I spent the better part of 2018 trying to rediscover the strength I had unearthed over the last four (now five) years since my divorce. Today, I am ready to move past the fear of being “found out” to be less (or more) than I believe myself to be.

So here I stand allowing myself to be seen - fully seen.
My voice is my power.
My story is my authority.
My healing is my permission. #thepullofgrace
